Amur Leopard

The Amur leopard is considered to be the rarest big cat onĀ Earth. Thanks to huge conservation efforts made since the turn of the millennium, the Amur leopard population is now increasing, going from an estimated 16 individuals in the year 2000 to over 100 in 2022. These numbers are however still very low, and this magnificent feline remains under threat from habitat loss and poaching.
