Great Fox Spider

Found predominantly in Europe, the great fox spider was believed to be extinct in the UK until it’s rediscovery in 2020. As a member of the wolf spider family, the great fox spider doesn’t spin webs, but instead lives in burrows which it digs in sandy soil. Exact numbers of this spider are unknown and difficult to estimate.
